FDOT T6422 Krome Avenue (SR 997)

LOCATION: Miami-Dade County owner: Florida Department of Transportation contract: $6,552,000

PREPARATION

The Roadway Improvements we completed under this Contract consisted of adding two additional lanes, grass median, bike paths for appoximately 2 miles of SR997/Krome Avenue (SW 177th Avenue) from SW 232 Street to SW 136th Street.

EXCAVATION

Our work included maintenance of traffic, SWPP protection, over 33,000 cubic yards of excavation, over 64,000 cubic yards of embankment and over 231,000 square yards of subgrade, optional base 2 and optional base 10.

INSTALLATION

We also installed over 2 miles of underground drainage piping and 5,800 linear feet of french drain along with more than 200 drainage structures.
