FedEx Legacy Park

300 Acre former farming area.

LOCATION: SW Village Pkwy & SW Becker Rd, Port St. Lucie, FL owner: Arco Murray Construction Company, Inc. contract: $7.2 Million

PREPARATION

This heavily wooded 300 acre parcel was transformed into a large Industrial Park for multiple warehouse bldgs. and various tenants including Federal Express, Amazon Warehouse and Cheney Brothers Food Distribution Warehouse. After we cleared the massive site, the majority of the site had to be demucked and properly backfilled.

FILLING

All that fill material was produced by digging a 24 acre stormwater management lake which created over a million cubic yards of material. We used that material both onsite for the spine roads, the two entrance roads and large building pad.

DEVELOPMENT

A large quantity of the material was very loose and silty and had to be stockpiled and left to surcharge for months to allow enough time to achieve proper compaction for the future bulding pads.

INSTALLATION

New lift station, that was sized and built to accommodate the entire project, was installed. Sanitary sewer main alongside the Spine Roads, as well as water main and all necessary storm drainage was installed and left ready for each of the future parcels to be incorporated into the main new system.
